“I’m bringing in the New Year with a new set of songs and a new musical outlet, Bluebird Midwest. It’s been a long time coming and I have been doing lots of soul-searching this season to understand exactly where this project exists and where I want to take it in the new year. My writing has evolved quite a bit after a long lacuna from my previous nom de plume, Dandelion Snow. The new songs have taken on many different shapes and sounds. Therefore, I’ve opted for a new beginning and what better day for that than the 1st of the year. 

I’ve been wanting to make a record on my own, with the help of some dear friends of mine, and I have been demoing incessantly over the past year. A lot of light has been shed and I feel a lot differently now. The new album will be a collection of songs written during this period of time juxtaposed amongst new material. 2011 was filled with so much change and many unexpected turns.”
